  SQL4X Manager J 2.9.1 released
 

This is a bug fix release with some minor enhancements. It fixes several Java/database driver related issues, brings some minor performance enhancements and includes a Job Scheduler to automate backup tasks etc.

SQL4X Manager J 2.9.1 is a free update for all users of eSuite4X and/or SQL4X Manager J. The upgrade is available here.

  SQL4X Manager J 3.0 Announcement
 

As we get many questions about the upcoming release we will post some updates here to keep you informed.

SQL4X Manager J 3.0 will bring some major new enhancements (graphical ER Modeller, new and much faster database engine, support for additional database servers, graphical tools to write and test stored procedures).

We will finish development by the end of 2004. By this time we will make a public beta available. All users who purchased a subscription will get the upgrade to the final release for free.

SQL4X Manager J got some new user interface enhancements for power users to make script execution with SQL Viewer more powerful. We have added support for FrontBase to this release (Navigator, SQL Console and SQL Viewer).

  eSuite4X 2.7 released - Now optimized for Mac OS X 10.3
 

eSuite4X Web Developer's Edition and eSuite4X MySQL Edition are now available with Mac OS X 10.3 (Panther) support. The new releases include an updated SQL4X Manager J and several minor bug fixes.

The upgrade to release 2.7 is free for all customers. Please do not use older releases of SQL4X Manager J with Mac OS X 10.3. (The upgrade for SQL4X Manager J is also available as separate download here.)

SQL4X Manager J has been updated to support new features introduced with Mac OS X 10.3 (Panther).

The upgrade to release 2.7 is free for all customers. Please do not use older releases of SQL4X Manager J with Mac OS X 10.3. SQL4X Manager J 2.7 works with Mac OS X 10.2 and 10.3.

Starting today the new eSuite4X 2.6 - Web Developer's Edition is available. This release includes everthing you need to start developing your own database driven web sites on Mac OS X within 10 minutes.

  eSuite4X 2.6 - MySQL4 Edition released: The easiest way to run your own MySQL server on Mac OS X
 

The new release includes over 30 enhancements to the graphical installer (now including MySQL 4.0.15a), configuration tools and the graphical management interface. SQL4X Manager J 2.6 is now included for browsing your tables, managing users and access privileges, databases and MySQL server status.

  SQL4X Manager J 2.6 released
 

SQL4X Manager J 2.6 includes several bug fixes and some major enhancements:

  • Data Transfer Manager (DTM) to copy (migrate) tables and databases. Supports copy from and to any JDBC enabled database server.
  • Reporting Tool to easily create and print simple reports based on your database queries.
  • GUI enhancements with explanations for common tasks and shortcuts to the most important assistants.
  • SQL Script Editor to modify embedded SQL scripts to retrieve status information from your database server (for usage with Database Navigator/Corner Menu)
  • The new release includes an all new PHP and JSP code generator. The JSP code generator supports all major databases and generates JSP code compatible with all major JSP containers (like Tomcat, etc). The generated code can be post-processed with Dreamweaver MX.
